A stopping place along a journey, the three-seat Lacey Settee revisits the ornate gestures of 19th-century ironwork. Though its hand-patinated frame is made of blackened steel, its airy construction and reverence for geometry convey lightness and delicacy. Topped by a supple blue wool seat cushion and a cheeky houndstooth back, it is a hush before a crescendo—a moment for pause in a swirl of activity. Lacey is an open-edition series; COM available.
